Best Things To Do In Maryland Heights

The original DD Mau Vietnamese Eatery location is in Maryland Heights, MO.  Maryland Heights, located just outside St. Louis, has so much to offer, and we love being a part of the community!  Here’s our guide for what to see, do, and eat in Maryland Heights.

Get outside in Maryland Heights

On the days that aren’t too hot, Maryland Heights offers tons of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors.  One of our favorite spots is Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park.  It includes a large lake where you can rent kayaks or paddleboards. Plus, there is a path that circles the lake, which is the perfect spot to walk, run, or bike. Other features include a disc golf course, picnic pavilions, beach area, and tennis courts. You can take your dog for a walk, spend some time on the water, or bring a picnic from your favorite Maryland Heights restaurant and enjoy it along the water as the sun sets!

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can also find ziplining in Maryland Heights at Go Ape Zipline Treetop Adventure.  This adventure park is perfect for those who are looking for a thrill. People ages 10+ are welcome to try their zipline and adventure course with ziplines as long as 500 ft and platforms as high as 45 ft above the ground.

See a live show or concert in Maryland Heights

If you’re a fan of the arts, Maryland Heights has something for you too! The Hollywood Casino Amphitheater is a 20,000-seat outdoor venue that hosts tons of great concerts every summer. You can find everything from country to classic rock to pop shows at the amphitheater.

You can also catch a comedy show at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. It’s located in Westport Plaza and hosts national touring comics for shows, along with open mike nights and other fun events that will be sure to leave you laughing all the way home.

Have A Drink in Maryland Heights

All that adventure will probably leave you feeling thirsty.  Luckily, Mayland Heights has some renowned local establishments where you can get a drink. In particular, Six Mile Bridge Brewery and O’Fallon Brewery are known and loved by St. Louisans. You can find St. Louis craft beer and other drink selections on their menus.
