    Job Summary

     

    DD Mau Vietnamese Eatery is seeking a friendly Restaurant Cashier/ Server who can deliver excellent customer service while memorizing our menu items. DD Mau is a quick serve style restaurant where customer order off the menu at the cashier. The Restaurant Cashier/ Server will be responsible for taking food orders from customers, packing/serving the proper meals the customer orders and helping the customer with any questions. If you have previous experience as a Server in a popular restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.

     

    • Restaurant Line Server responsibilities
    • Take customers’ food and drink orders
    • Upsell customers on specials
    • Ensure that all orders are accurate and made for each customer in a timely manner
    • Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials
    • Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
    • Confirm orders with any food allergies and restrictions
    • Assist with keeping line, dinning, and kitchen areas clean
    • Prep line items
    • Check out customers and ensure the right change is given
    • Restaurant Server skills
    • High school diploma/GED required
    • 2+ years’ restaurant experience preferred
    • Must be able to work on your feet up to 8 hours
    • Strong customer service skills required
    • Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
    • Ensure that items are restocked, and the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

     

    Pay: $10.50 – $13.00 per hour

    Line Cook Responsibilities
    Include:
    • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
    • Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
    • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

     

    Job brief

     

    We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.


    Responsibilities
    • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
    • Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
    • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
    • Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
    • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
    • Stock inventory appropriately
    • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
    • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
    • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customersRequirements
    • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
    • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
    • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
    • Familiar with industry’s best practices

    Pay: $11.00 – $15.00 per hour
